Description

Provides customer service functions by answering incoming phone lines and handling requests form all customers of the Business Office including patient, insurance companies, physicians, employees, etc. Performs receptionist functions to greet and assist customers who come into the office to resolve questions or complaints relating to patient accounts. Provides cashiering functions by taking payments and issuing receipts.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
High school graduate or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience
• Two years experience in insurance office or physician’s office or three (3) years general office experience.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Skills
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
